
Yu-Chen Yang
Viool
Taiwanese violist Yu-Chen Yang is a dedicated musician whose playing reflects warmth and sincerity. She is currently pursuing a Master of Music degree at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where she studies with Prof. Marjolein Dispa and Prof. Sven Arne Tepl. She previously earned her Master of Music at the USC Thornton School of Music studying with Prof. Yura Lee and received her Bachelor of Music from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, studying with Prof. Dimitri Murrath. Earlier, she trained at the Colburn Music Academy in Los Angeles with Prof. Minor Wetzel.

Yu-Chen has participated in masterclasses and performed for distinguished artists including Nobuko Imai, Hsin-Yun Huang, the Parker Quartet, Hartmut Rohde, and Hariolf Schlichtig etc... Recent highlights include chamber music performance at Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles as part of the Mahlerthon festival, as well as chamber music performance with Benjamin Beilman at San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
Yu-Chen is dedicated to both solo and collaborative playing and she is passionate about chamber music and its ability to bring people together through sharing artistic experiences.
